2.01 acres of tupelo swamp

Bruce and Martha McHenry decided to donate land to Barnstable Land Trust in summer 1991. They granted a 2.01 acre, old cranberry bog, which has now filled into a tupelo swamp.

The parcel spans considerable frontage on both Hamblin Pond and Middle Pond in Marstons Mills. An easement to allow only foot traffic on the property was also included in their donation.
