After seeing their neighbors, the Davis family, donate Turtle Island to Barnstable Land Trust, Wade and Mary Staniar decided to place a conservation restriction on their property. The 6.80 acres are comprised of an unnamed island and the wetland of Warren’s Cove in Osterville. The protected land falls at a critical tidal estuarine junction between the Marstons Mills River and the ocean on the south side of Barnstable.
