Cotuit Bay Kayak Trip
Sunday, October 19th, 9 AM - Noon, Cotuit
Join Mass Audubon Sanctuary Director Ian Ives and naturalist Chris Walz for a paddle through Cotuit Bay and Oyster Harbors. Highlights will include fall migrants and ducks as well as the natural history of the harbor. Park at Ropes Beach, off Main Street and Putnam Ave. in Cotuit; actual paddling will be 2.5 hours. Participants should be able to swim and have basic kayaking experience. No one under 12 is allowed and under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Participants should also bring their own water, snack, sun block, and change of clothes if necessary. Dry bags, safety equipment, paddles, and both single and tandem kayaks will be provided.
