Join BLT’s Land Management Team
Barnstable Land Trust can always use volunteers to help with various projects! The team meets for 2-3 hours one day (usually Thursday or Friday) almost every week from late spring into the early winter.
Ongoing projects include:
- Phragmites removal at beautiful Meadow Point in Cotuit
- Invasive species removal and garden maintenance at Fuller Farm in Marstons Mills, East Bay Road in Osterville, Coombs Bogs in Centerville
- Help mowing small lawns at Fuller Farm and Flume Avenue near the herring run
- Assistance locating property boundaries
Access to a small chipper will greatly help (but not required!).
For more information or to volunteer, contact Red Bansfield, Land Management Coordinator, at red@BLT.org or call the BLT office at 508-771-2585.
