Irene Anderson donates land in Barnstable

0.57 Acres in Barnstable – May 31, 2016

AndersonDonated by Irene Anderson, a portion of this heavily wooded upland forest lies within a State Designated Priority Habitat for rare species. Additionally, the land is part of a greenbelt that includes the County Farm, just over 500 feet away. The groundwater beneath the land feeds a nearby wetland and flows toward Maraspin Creek, which feeds Barnstable Harbor and the Sandy Neck Area of Critical Environmental Concern (ACEC), a major area of focus for BLT.
