Meet at Meetinghouse Farm, 2135 Meetinghouse Way (Rte. 149), West Barnstable

Co-hosted by our friends at Meetinghouse Farm, Professor Jim Gould will lead us through the enchanting village of West Barnstable. Learn about the history and ongoing restoration of the Paine Black House and visit the circa 1880 General Store and renovated Train Depot. Hear the tales of Captain “Mad Jack” Percival, who was known for his crazy antics and used as a model by authors Melville, Hawthorne and Michener for characters in their books.

Call the BLT office at 508-771-2585 or email melanie@blt.org to let us know you’ll attend. There is no charge for this walking tour.
