How to Lead a BLT Team

Do you and a group of friends want to help raise funds together? Sounds great! Here is how to lead a team for BLT in the Tour de Barnstable:

  1. Choose a team captain: this individual is responsible for checking in with all team members to make sure they are on track for their fundraising and training.
  2. Choose a goal: Decide what you want to accomplish as a team and go for it. Want to raise $5,000? You can do it! We are asking that teams raise a minimum of $1,200.
  3. Register with BLT and your team: when you and your teammates sign up to ride, make sure you all choose the same team, and that you select Tour de Barnstable – Barnstable Land Trust as your Fundraising Charity in the drop-down box below your contact information.
  4. Keep up the good work: check in with your riders on a weekly basis make sure your team is on track. You can use our fundraising outline as a guide to fit your team’s needs and make suer team members are reaching their goals.
