home-box-1Join us on a fascinating tour of Marstons Mills. Hear about the captain who braved the seven seas only to die tragically while Christmas shopping in Boston. View the herring run and learn about the herrings’ strenuous annual journey. See the house of the survivors of the ill-fated whaler Essex, the subject of Nathaniel Philbrick’s best-seller Heart of the Sea and movie of the same name. Discover the remains of a hydro-electric plant built in the 1950s…and more! This 1-mile walk is led by Daniel Haslam III, Vice-President of Walkabout International.

Park at the Marstons Mills Elementary School (2095 Main St.). This is a free walk.
