Here are some great events from our friends, collaborators and more!

Wildlife on Tap Lecture Series

Mass Audubon, Long Pasture and Cape Cod Beer              February-April 2018

Our friends at Mass Audubon (who will be leading another Mudflat Walk with this summer!) offer a winter lecture series at Cape Cod Beer, where attendees can learn about wildlife and enjoy local beer. Each presenter in the series is an expert in the field. Upcoming lecture topics include: On the Path to Extinction: Cape Cod’s Right Whales; State of Massachusetts Birds 2017; Sea Turtles Around the Cape and Islands, and more.

Coastal Ecology of Cape Cod

Professor Gil Newton Bridgewater State University Cape Cod          May-April 2018

Are you curious about the seaside habitats you’ve experienced around the Cape? Join Professor Gil Newton’s class on the Coastal Ecology of Cape Cod at Bridgewater State University in South Yarmouth! The workshop will survey the marine plants and animals along the Cape Cod shoreline, their ecology, and the diverse habitats in which they are found. You may recognize Gil as one of our wonderful walk leaders, and a founding member of Barnstable Land Trust.
