Chris Paugh was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA. Once married, she took up residence in New Jersey and she and her husband Rich raised their son, Ryan. They have been coming to Chatham on vacation for over 35 years. “We fell in love with all the natural beauty of the Cape and always knew that someday we would retire here.”

Chris graduated Magna cum Laude from William Paterson University with a BS in Marketing and a minor in Psychology. Her professional background includes Finance, Personnel, Recruiting, Training and Information Technology. The majority of her career was spent working for Merck & Co., Inc., a Pharmaceutical Co. She started out in IT Process Management and moved onto Enterprise IT Strategic Planning and Strategy. She provided leadership and support for Merck’s Enterprise IT Portfolio Management capability and process. While at Merck, she obtained her Merck Six Sigma Black Belt certification.

Chris is so happy to be here on the Cape. Her happy place is the beach and she loves to go exploring. “The beautiful landscape of the Cape, and having access to the incredible wildlife, hiking trails, biking trails and beaches is a dream come true. That is why it is important to preserve the landscape for future years to come for future generations.”
