Celebrate Hike Barnstable and learn from trained and certified hike leaders from the Appalachian Mountain Club’s Southeastern MA chapter, one of BLT’s community partners, on how to prepare for different kinds of hiking with tips about footwear, clothing, and gear.  Suitable for hikers of all experience levels, the 45-minute program will be held in the Michael R. Kramer Center, a new post and beam barn, and include information about AMC courses, classes, and outdoor activities. Afterwards, there will be a short guided hike on Fuller Farm’s beautiful meadow trail. This program is part of Hike Barnstable which is supported in part by Cape Cod Healthcare.
