Protecting Land. Connecting People.
Stewardship Matching Challenge
With summer in full bloom on Cape Cod, the trails are bustling, the woods are alive, and our protected lands are thriving.
Thanks to your past support, we are deepening our commitment to stewardship—the ongoing care of the land that you have helped conserve. That means showing up, season after season, to tend trails, restore habitats, and create spaces where people, plants, and wildlife can flourish together.
This year, we are breaking new ground—literally. Three new public trails are in the works, including our very first all-access trail at Pogorelc Sanctuary. We’ve also welcomed more than 75 active volunteers, expanded community engagement programs, and continued caring for the 122 properties entrusted to us so they remain vibrant, healthy landscapes.
This growing stewardship work takes people, planning, and resources. A generous foundation is offering a matching challenge this summer—doubling every gift made before September 30! Your support now will help us meet the challenge and continue to elevate the conservation value of the land we’ve protected together.
And with 5 active land projects right now — our stewardship needs and opportunities will only continue to grow!
Your gift will help:
Complete new trail projects—including improved access for all ages and abilities;
Offer more volunteer opportunities to connect people with nature through hands-on work;
Support field trips and outdoor education with local schools;
Improve wildlife habitat and native plant resilience across BLT properties.
Together, we can shape a Cape Cod that’s not only protected, but deeply cared for.
Will you make a gift to support this growing effort?
Your donation will be matched, doubling your impact and fueling our work to steward the Cape’s natural legacy—for today and for generations to come. Visit www.blt.org/donate to give today.
Make a gift before September 30 to maximize your support for BLT’s land stewardship efforts with this matching Challenge!
