Landowner Conservation Workshop

The Barnstable Land Trust is a community-supported nonprofit working to conserve land in Barnstable to protect drinking water, habitat, scenic views and recreation. With the Town and other partners, we have helped to preserve over 11,000 acres of land. There is more to do: many open spaces, bays, and estuaries are still threatened by overdevelopment. You can help preserve the places that make Cape Cod special.

Please join us for a free informational landowner workshop on Wednesday June 22nd to learn about options for protecting your land.  Featured speakers include Mark Robinson, Executive Director, Compact of Cape Cod Conservation Trusts, and leaders from Barnstable Land Trust. Speakers will provide an overview of the reasons and options for land conservation and the available federal, state and local tax benefits.

Want to take a closer look at your property?  An optional mapping exercise will be available to assess the conservation value of your property.
