Wild About Words: A Workshop for Those Who Love Nature and Writing

The Barnstable Land Trust and Cotuit Library are delighted to announce a free workshop led by Cotuit writer and artist Diane Hanna at the Cotuit Library. She is also a Words in the Wild poet whose work can be experienced at Ropes Field. Diane will use engaging prompts to help participants freely express themselves and their appreciation for the natural world. The atmosphere will be curious, playful, and open. Participants should bring a notebook and writing implement. Attendance will be limited to ten so all participants who wish to share their work will have time to do so. This program is part of the Barnstable Land Trust’s “Words in the Wild” program, which posts poetry along BLT trails, and was made possible by grants from the Arts Foundation of Cape Cod and the Mid-Cape Cultural Council, a local agency supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council. There is no fee to participate, but registration is required as it is limited to 10 participants. *For ages 18 and up.

Sorry, registration for this event is now full.
