Janet Milkman
Executive Director

Janet Milkman has worked for and led non-profit organizations for 30 years, with a focus on community development, energy and environmental policy and practice. Her professional background includes advocating for statewide land use reform, including smart growth measures and community revitalization funding, supporting renewable energy and conservation through education, legislation, and advocacy. Her previous leadership roles include Executive Director of the Marion Institute and Executive Director of the Philadelphia-area Green Building Council.

Janet is a graduate of Wesleyan and Princeton Universities, and a Fulbright scholar. Janet Milkman is thrilled to be settled back home on Cape Cod after living in New York, Philadelphia and Minneapolis. Her passion for nature and the Cape landscape drive her at work and play. When not at work, you can find Janet birdwatching, mountain-biking, running her favorite trails, or paddleboarding in the ponds and bays of the Cape.
