Director of Operations

Karen Greene has worked in state and local government for the last 30 years, serving as the Director of Community Development for the Town of Yarmouth for the last 20 years.  Karen has extensive administrative, grant management and budgeting skills as well as the ability to collaborate with a variety of constituents with diverse interests.  Karen is excited to join and to apply her skills to help advance the BLT mission of protecting special places for present and future generations.

A Massachusetts native, Karen has lived on Cape Cod since 2001 and is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts and Syracuse University with degrees in Economics and Public Administration. 

Karen enjoys spending time outdoors enjoying the beach and cold water year-round, as well as reading, playing pickleball, making pottery and spending time with her husband and family.
