2025 BLT Annual Meeting at the Frank and Maureen Wilkens Science and Engineering Center at Cape Cod Community College
New and renewed members are invited to gather and celebrate at Barnstable Land Trust’s Annual Meeting. We’ll reflect on what we’ve accomplished together, share exciting updates on the For Now & Forever Campaign, and recognize this year’s award recipients. We will also welcome new board members and vote on bylaw changes.
This is the biggest summer in BLT’s history! Join us for an evening of celebration, inspiration, and shared love for the land we cherish. Beverages and light appetizers will also be available.

Article VI - Officers
Add to Section E: The Vice-President will also be a member of the Governance Committee.
Article VIII Board of Directors
Delete current Section F: Any member of the Board of Directors who, without excuse, fails to attend three consecutive meetings of the Board shall cease to be a member of the Board.
New Section F substitution language: Any Director may be removed for cause, including, but not limited to: three consecutive unexcused absences from board meetings; failure to fulfill fiduciary responsibilities; and/or acting in a manner detrimental to the best interests of the board and/or organization. Removal requires a majority vote by remaining Directors of the board.
Insert new Section G: Directors may serve three consecutive three-year terms for a maximum of nine years. No Director who has served as such for nine consecutive years shall be eligible for reelection or reappointment until one year following the date on which the Director’s last term expired.
